Truths That Transform

I just love the conversations we are having lately on the the This Lyric, That Truth Podcast. I always learn something, or grow, or even look at the world with a fresh perspective. When I talked with Hannah Brencher (in this episode) she really inspired me to build a life of intention and a deeply present life. Cell phones can be a wonderful tool but can prevent you from really connecting in certain aspects of you life. She explained the importance of tracking progress through evidence and we discussed practical strategies for cultivating new habits and transforming mindsets.

I was also inspired by my conversation with Barb and Bill Bredemeier, (in this episode) a retired couple who have dedicated their time to volunteering and mentoring young adults in financial management. They share their journey of helping over 330 individuals establish personal budgets, emphasizing the importance of financial literacy and generosity. The conversation explores their motivations for giving back, the joy they find in service, and the impact of their work on the community. They also provide advice for those approaching retirement, encouraging listeners to find purpose and joy in serving others.

In next week’s episode, I cried while talking with Crystal VanDyken when she shared her testimony of being miraculously healed by the Lord regarding a life threatening heart illness. She encourages us to how to dig deeper into prayer and spoke of the crazy power it has when we invite Holy Spirit into our daily prayers, and she talks about how she prays over her kids daily and teaches them to pray.

We all need a little encouragement and wisdom in navigating our complex lives. I’d love for you to check out the This Lyric, That Truth podcasts from the listen now tab at joy99.com or wherever you get your podcasts.
