Would You Trust Your Life To This?

Isn’t it crazy the little things we put our trust in to keep us safe and secure? This little plug is what keeps our boat floating. If we put the boat in the water without putting this little plug in, we’d sink. Right to the bottom. Isn’t that crazy? We’ve been getting the boat ready to splash and The Captain asked me to hand this to him. When I had this little piece of metal in my hand, I couldn’t believe all the trust I put in it. Without even considering how important it is. I love the verse in Psalm 20:7 “Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we trust in the name of the Lord our God.” Because I believe in God, my trust is way more dependent on His protection for my life. He’s way bigger than this!

Proverbs 3:5-6 says “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight”
…and your boat float.
